Here’s what you need to know:

Positions Available:

Grounds Maintenance Charge Hand 2: £25,632 per year

Grounds Maintenance Operative 2: £23,664 per year

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Maintaining grounds with finesse, from grass cutting to hedge trimming and everything in between

Championing Cornwall’s ‘Wilding’ wildflower initiative, adding a touch of magic to our landscapes

Ensuring top-notch customer service while leading a small team (for Charge Hands)

Keeping our equipment in tip-top shape whilst ensuring H&S is followed

 

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in amenity horticulture

Pesticide Application Certificate PA1 – PA6

NVQ2 in Horticulture or a similar field (preferred)

The ability to drive (Class B1 license required, Class C1 desired)

Self-motivation and a knack for initiative

Landscaping experience is a bonus but not a deal-breaker

**This role is physically demanding and you will be expected to work outside in all weathers**

Are you a skilled operator ready to rock the quarry scene in Penzance? We’re on the lookout for a Dumper or Loaded Shovel driver with a knack for crushing it in the industry. Previous quarry experience? Even better!

Operate Loaded Shovel or Dumper must have the relevant ticket to operate machinery

You will also be required to carry out other duties, general labour and assisting other members of the team

This is physically demanding work so you must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience of working in a quarry

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Jobline Staffing are specialists in providing bilingual and multilingual professionals to carry out interpretation and translation work throughout Cornwall. We provide and manage a large number of appointments to support both public and private sector organisations. Interpreters will attend assignments in order to facilitate communication and understanding between the client and customer.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Interpreters and translators typically do the following:

  • Speak, read, and write fluently in at least two languages, one of which is English
  • Relay the style and tone of the original language
  • Render spoken messages accurately, quickly, and clearly
  • Apply their cultural knowledge to render an accurate and meaningful interpretation or translation of the original message

To be successful in this role, you will have a high energy and can-do attitude

You will need to be motivated and committed about a placement within our busy team.
