We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join a busy facilities team carrying out maintenance and improvement works across a range of sites.

Key Responsibilities

• General building maintenance and repairs
• Painting and decorating
• Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance
• Opening and securing buildings where required
• Setting up meeting rooms and moving equipment
• Reporting maintenance issues and completing job records
• Responding to reactive maintenance requests
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider facilities team with day-to-day operational tasks

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in general building maintenance, decorating, or a related trade
• Good practical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Basic IT skills for completing job records
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
• Reliable, proactive, and customer focused

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence essential
• Ability to undertake manual handling and physical tasks
• Flexibility to work occasional early starts, late finishes, weekends, or bank holidays when required
• Basic DBS check will be processed for successful candidate
