Are you an experienced Service Advisor, Warranty Administrator or Claims Processor looking for a new challenge?
Do you have a good understanding of vehicle warranty, repair & maintenance and automotive invoicing, along with the accuracy and attention to detail needed to process claims correctly?
We’re looking for an HGV Claims & Invoice Processor to join a busy and successful commercial vehicle team based in Heathrow.
This is a specialist automotive role – not an insurance claims position – and offers an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the motor industry and wants to develop their career in claims, warranty and invoice administration.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for processing manufacturer warranty claims, Repair & Maintenance (R&M) claims and retail invoices for work completed across multiple branches.
Working with leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, you’ll ensure claims and invoices are submitted accurately and in line with manufacturer procedures, while working closely with Accounts and Service teams to resolve queries quickly.
You’ll be working across multiple software platforms, so this role will suit someone who is technically confident, highly organised and comfortable working at pace.
You don’t necessarily need previous HGV claims experience. Automotive experience is essential, and candidates from car and LCV backgrounds, particularly experienced Service Advisors, will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Process manufacturer warranty claims accurately and within required timescales
- Process Repair & Maintenance (R&M) claims
- Process daily retail invoices
- Submit claims through manufacturer systems and platforms
- Ensure claims comply with manufacturer procedures and company processes
- Review and resubmit rejected claims where appropriate
- Work closely with Accounts teams to resolve invoice and payment queries
- Ensure first-time claim submissions are accurate and complete
- Maintain accurate records and filing of completed documentation
- Work across multiple software systems on a daily basis
- Liaise with Service and Workshop teams to obtain any additional information required
- Monitor outstanding claims and invoices
- Identify and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure all administration is completed accurately and efficiently
- Support the wider Claims Administration team as required
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with a genuine automotive background who understands how vehicles are repaired, serviced and maintained.

- Claims Processor

- Automotive Administrator
- HGV Service Administrator
HGV experience is preferred, but experience within car or LCV environments will also be considered.
You’ll need:
- Previous automotive industry experience – essential
- An understanding of vehicle warranty
- Knowledge of repair and maintenance processes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Good numerical and analytical ability
- The ability to work accurately while working at pace
- Confidence using multiple IT/software platforms
- Strong communication skills
- A proactive, problem-solving approach
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
- A genuine can-do attitude and willingness to learn
No Claims Experience? Don’t Rule Yourself Out
If you have strong automotive experience but haven’t worked specifically in claims processing, don’t be put off.
Experienced Service Advisors looking to move away from front-line customer service and into a specialist claims and administration role are encouraged to apply.
A structured training pathway will be provided to help you learn the various manufacturer systems and processes.
Salary & Bonus
Up to £35,000 per annum DOE
Salary will reflect your existing experience and expertise, with a guide of:
- Entry level / minimal claims experience: £28,000
- 1–3 years’ Claims or Warranty experience: £30,000
- 3+ years’ Service Advisor or Commercial Claims experience: £32,000+
Plus a bonus opportunity of up to £3,000 per year, paid half-yearly and based on a combination of performance objectives, including sold hours against budget, first-time claim submissions, successful resubmissions and personal objectives.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Saturday working is not normally required. However, where month-end falls over a weekend, some additional hours may occasionally be required and will always be discussed in advance.
You may also occasionally be required to work from other locations to support claims processing across the wider business.
