Why do I have to sign the Terms of Engagement for Temporary Workers?
As a temporary worker, to ensure that you understand the terms, arrangements and provisions in place everyone is asked to read and sign this document.
What rate of pay will I receive through Jobline Staffing?
The rates are discussed on an individual basis for temporary assignments.
Who authorises my timesheets?
All timesheets should be signed by your line manager to be approved for payment and sent through to Jobline Staffing for payment.
Will I receive sick pay?
You may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay from your 4th day of absence if you are absent through sickness, but this is dependent on having paid sufficient NI contributions. If at anytime you are ill please contact the Jobline Staffing Payroll Team and they will be able to advise you individually.
What date will I be paid?
The pay day for work undertaken through Jobline Staffing is the last working day of the week. This relates to work carried out in the previous week.
When must my timesheets be submitted by?
Timesheets are to be received by Jobline Staffing Payroll Team by 10:00am on Monday of each week.
Will I be entitled to holiday pay?
You will accrue holiday pay based on the number of hours that you actually work. Full details can be found in our Terms of Engagement for Agency Workers.
Is there a limit on the number of hours I can work?
There is no set maximum of hours however Jobline Staffing will use your timesheets to monitor that there is no contravention of the Working Time Regulations.
