Ready for a practical, hands‑on job where every day is different? We’re looking for a Civils Operative to join a hardworking, supportive team delivering essential civil engineering and construction work across Cornwall.

If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in high‑quality workmanship, and have solid technical ability with tools, machinery and site work this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out a wide range of construction and civil engineering tasks

(surfacing, patching, drainage, kerbing, groundworks and more)

• Operating vehicles, plant and machinery
• Following all safety procedures and wearing the correct PPE
• Keeping the public, your team and yourself safe at all times
• Pitching in with additional duties to support daily operations

What We’re Looking For

• CSCS card (or equivalent)
• Full driving licence
• CPCS/plant tickets (or equivalent)
• Experience with powered hand tools, plant and machinery
• Someone reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
• Good communication skills, especially with the public
